(Video) The Honey Pot owner says the company is “not yet sold” and more contact information should be provided to customers

Rub! Twitter was thrown into turmoil last weekend when a rumor that Jar of honey already on sale are starting to circulate online as a new formula change for their laundry detergents is also gaining attention. Owner & CEO of Black owned company, Beatrice Dixonposted a video to clear up misconceptions.

In the clip, which is nearly 15 minutes long and read from a handwritten note, Dixon makes it clear that she still owns the company. Dixon also claims that the formulations of popular washes have changed but that they are “more effective” and are still “plant-based”.

In part, she said:

Honey Pot was not sold. I want to say it again: The Honey Pot hasn’t been sold yet; it’s all lies and rumours. I am still the owner, CEO and Chief Innovation Officer, from time to time. Any other discussion is simply not true.

Dixon went on to say that “transparency and communication” has always been their promise to customers. She also confirmed that the company has “developed” their rinses, but that they are still “plant-based, PH balanced and backed by science.”

Due to the shortfall in supply changes globally, the launch of the new wash product came earlier than expected, and the Honey Pot “didn’t do enough to make contact,” Dixon explained. Ensuring that the new formula is “safer, beautiful, and even more effective,” she says the company should “communicate more directly with our people.”

Dixon also claims that experts will be able to answer questions customers may have about the change. She also stated that the Honey Pot will also provide development around the new recipe.

Roomies, what do you think of this?
