(Video) The woman who accused R. Kelly Sang of coming to her from the same prison as her convicted father in the viral video

Chile, R. Kelly won’t let his behind bars stop him from getting on a show! Well, that’s the vibe a circulating video seems to be giving off! In the 30-second clip, R. Kelly is said to have made a song request from the prison over the phone. The Shade Room spoke to the woman who requested the song and posted the video. These are the alleged details of how the unusual moment happened!

Jazzalyn posted the video about 4 days ago to her personal TikTok platform. The alleged 18-year-old did not provide many specifics about the call at the time of posting. However, she did write “when your dad went to the same prison as R. Kelly” in white font on the video. The video only shows the movements of a woman believed to be Jazzalyn holding and talking into an iPhone. A phone call with saved contact ‘Brooklyn Federal Prison (Tommy Perez) is seen on the screen and heard on speakerphone.

The young woman confirmed to us that Tommy Perez is her father, who is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. The prison’s inmate locator confirmed the detention of a person with this name. This is believed to be the same prison authorities holding R. Kelly after his 2021 conviction in the notorious New York sex trafficking case.

“I want to ask you one thing, can you sing me a song,” Jazzalyn asked the alleged R. Kelly. He replied, “which one,” and Jazzalyn replied, “Love letter.”

There is a slight pause, before the sound extends from the other end of the line. Jazzalyn started to sing the song, then R. Kelly jumped in to finish the tune. The videographer and Jazzalyn expressed their excitement with shouts and comments.

Jazzalyn clarified to TSR that R. Kelly “was not doing it at all for proxies” or any other form of financial compensation. She also reiterates this point on her Instagram Story, so stop those viral chatter.

And, this is not the first time Jazzalyn has had the opportunity to hear R. Kelly singgg while behind bars. She told The Shade Room she had the opportunity to meet Kellz on the same day as the phone call. Jazzalyn said she visited her father last Friday at MDC Brooklyn. During the visit, R. Kelly was also said to have showcased his talents.

“Not only did I talk to him on the phone, but I also got to meet him in person! LOL and he sang it out loud for everyone in the visiting room,” Jazzalyn told TSR.

We tried to collect video of this moment for verification. However, Jazzalyn said the prison has a no-phone policy when visiting inmates, which is typical of prisons. Jazzalyn said she visited her father between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. local time and then received a call from him about an hour later at 8:34 p.m. local time.

Per Jazzalyn, he called to make sure his daughter got home safely, and that’s when she told him she had plans to “tell the world [she] met R. Kelly. Her father asked her if she wanted to talk to Kelly. Jazzalyn answered yes and in her words “took her chance” to make a request. The 18-year-old told us Tommy and R. Kelly aren’t necessarily friends, but are very friendly.

“He and my dad used to talk from what he told me, I would say they’re great together but they’re not really friends, lol. They just serve them time together,” Jazzalyn wrote.

As of Wednesday morning, R. Kelly was trending on Twitter, and Jazzalyn’s TikTok video had received more than 773,000 views.
