Vikings send reps to Everson Griffen’s home after gun video, pleas appear on Instagram

There was a lot of concern around the health and safety of the Vikings Everson Griffen defensive post on Wednesday morning.

Griffen, 33, posted a video of him brandishing a gun and claimed that people were trying to kill him. He then went on to explain that he had ammunition in the gun and that it was registered to him, although he insists Dalvin Cook helped him get it.

The video is only 30 seconds long. You can see it here, but be warned that its contents are disturbing.

Griffen also posted several other messages on his personal Instagram profile. They include a text message exchange with his agentBrian Murphy, in which Griffen repeatedly writes, “I need help,” and also writes, “Better to call 911.” He has since deleted the posts.

Vikings solved the problem through a statement Wednesday morning. The team said that the representative had been at Griffen’s house since early morning.

Vikings representatives and the team’s mental health specialists have been at Everson Grirfen’s home since early this morning and are cooperating with law enforcement. Our only concern at this time is the safety and well-being of Everson and his family. We will have further comment at the appropriate time.

And then in the morning, Minnetrista police said that Griffen was not leaving his home and that law enforcement and psychologists from the Vikings were engaged in “ongoing communication with Griffen.”

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer didn’t have many details on Wednesday about what was happening and all he can say is that the team is not focused on his state for the Vikings’ upcoming game against the Vikings. 49ers.

“That’s really not our concern right now,” Zimmer told reporters. “It’s really about him.”

Zimmer also said general manager Rick Spielman would address the situation later in the day.

Griffen has faced mental health concerns in the past, and he missed five weeks of the 2018 NFL season because of erratic behavior due to “severe unresolved feelings of grief.”

Griffen spoke well of the clean vehicle that 2018 “reset” brought him.

“I’m glad 2018 has come to an end, because I’m not going to be sitting here today, being able to tell my story and show the teams that I’m strong, I’m healthy and there’s really nothing to hold you back. worried, because I’m doing all the right things,” said Griffen NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. “There’s nothing I’m doing behind the scenes that they have to worry about. I’m doing everything I can to make sure that 2018 doesn’t happen again. And that’s not going to happen.”
