Vince Russo in The Bloodline could betray the Roman Empires


Vince Russo gave his thoughts on the future of Roman Reigns’ villain in WWE.

Reigns is back in 2020 after acting as a babyface for six years. With Paul Heyman and The Usos at his side, The Tribal Chief is one of the leading villains in the company at the moment. However, as number of goods shows, he still has many fans.

Russo, former chief editor of WWE, asked a question on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s “Writing with Russo” shows whether the 37-year-old should turn his back again. If plot development occurs, he believes Heyman and The Usos should turn against the Bloodline leader.

“You can stack an entire deck against Reigns,” says Russo. “There’s The Usos, there’s Heyman, there’s Brock [Lesnar]. You can literally stack an entire deck on him to get his sympathies. ” [2:45-2:58]

Vince Russo Explains Why Roman Reigns Should Turn His Face

WWE is currently missing babyface protagonists following the injuries of Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. The likes of Bianca Belair, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Liv Morgan are some of the company’s most beloved fan-favorites at the moment.

Reigns has beaten almost every good person in WWE over the past two years. For that reason, Vince Russo thinks now is the right time for the former Shield member to undergo a character transition.

“With all they’ve done, is there anything left for Roman Reigns to do the heel?” Russo asked. “That’s what I’m talking about [WWE should turn Reigns face]. ” [1:17-1:29]

On July 30, the six-time main athlete of WrestleMania will defend his WWE Universal Uncontested title against Brock Lesnar in a match. The last man standing match at SummerSlam.
