Volkswagen code. Buzz interior revealed


The Volskwagen ID. Buzz The interior has been officially revealed in detail ahead of its global launch on March 9 European time.

According to Volkswagen, the ID five seats. Buzz will have 1121L of luggage space with all seats raised.

ID. The Buzz Cargo variant, which has two front seats and a partition between those seats and the cargo area, can carry more than 3900L of cargo.

Outside ID. Buzz will be available with seven one-tone paint options and four two-tone options. Exterior colors can be optionally transferred to the interior via the dashboard, door trim and upholstery.

To give the car a whimsical air, ID. Buzz has happy faces and stylized drawings of its own scattered throughout the cabin. The passenger motor also includes a built-in bottle opener and ice scraper.

In a first for the Volkswagen brand, ID. Buzz has a vegan-friendly interior where leather and other animal-based products are replaced with alternative materials, some of which come from more sustainable sources.

Volkswagen said ID. Buzz’s polyurethane steering wheel trim has a similar look to leather, while the seat covers, headrests and floor coverings are made from recycled materials.

Among the sustainable materials used is Seaqual fiber, which consists of 10% marine plastic, with the remainder coming from recycled PET plastic bottles.

ID. Buzz is also the first Volkswagen Group vehicle to be equipped with ArtVelours ECO seat fabric, which is 71% recycled.

We have seen part of the ID. Buzz before. At the end of January, loophole reveals elements from the cabin, including a two-level boot floor.

From what we know, ID. Buzz will share the small digital instrument display and larger touchscreen infotainment system with the ID.3 hatchback and ID.4 crossover.

The automaker isn’t shy with its rainbow camouflage ID either. Buzz Prototype. Vehicles suggest the production car will be similar to the 2017 concept, albeit with some styling cues from the later ID. The patterns blend into an overall silhouette reminiscent of the original Kombi.

Finally, the ID. The Buzz will be available in both five-seat short-wheelbase and seven-seat long-wheelbase formats, with the latter primarily aimed at the United States.

At launch, ID. Buzz will come with a 82kWh lithium-ion battery and a single rear-mounted electric motor rated at 150kW and 310Nm.

In Europe, ID. Buzz will support two-way charging, as well as ‘Plug & Charge’, saving owners from having to create a new account and enter their details for every charging network they use.
