Volkswagen Tiguan 2024: New generation SUV was caught during a test run
Third generation Volkswagen Tiguan has yet to be officially revealed, but there will be some surprises when it is revealed.
Our spy photographers in Europe captured the new mid-size SUV during retesting, this time in white paint instead of black. It was taken on a sunny day with a fast temperature of -23 degrees.
The third-generation Tiguan clearly offers a more rounded line with a sculpted upper body reminiscent of its larger siblings.
It is expected that the new Tiguan will switch to the latest MQB Evo platform like Golf 8 and Skoda Octavia – with petrol, hybrid and plug-in hybrid options.
A hot Tiguan R with the upgraded transmission from the Golf R is also almost certain, though an all-electric model is less likely due to the existence of the electric-only ID.4 of the size. similar.
Although our spy photographers were unable to capture any interior images of this particular Tiguan prototype, they did. previously captured the inside of a previous prototype.
We expect the new Tiguan to appear in 2023 at one of the major auto shows in Europe and hit the market in 2024.
The current-generation model has been in production since 2016, with a typical car life cycle lasting 7-8 years.
