Von Wagner suffered a heavy loss on NXT 2.0
NXT Superstar Von Wagner suffered a setback in the latest version of WWEdevelopment program of.
Wagner and his manager Robert Stone have been feuding with Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen in recent weeks on NXT 2.0. After Wagner leveled the two men on a couple of occasions, Josh Briggs stepped up and offered to take on the superstar status on this week’s edition of the show.
Although initially dominated by Wagner, Briggs was able to win with some outside help from his partners. When Wagner attacked Brooks Jensen’s supposedly injured hand, Fallon Henley stood up on his apron and distracted the referee.
This allowed Jensen time to get past the actor Briggs, who used it as a weapon to hit Wagner. He then hit a clothesline at Von to score three goals.
Briggs and Jensen then celebrate that Jensen’s hand is okay while Von Wagner and his teammates are dumbfounded.
It will be interesting to see Von Wagner and Mr. How Stone reacts to this loss and whether they can avenge Briggs and Jensen. You can read more about WWE’s evolving brand by right clicking here.
