Warmonger Vladimir Putin REFUSES Ukraine peace deal proposed by top aide and orders his troops into the country

VLADIMIR Putin defied advice from a top aide to accept a peace deal offered by Ukraine and promote his invasion, sources close to the leader claim.

The Russian tyrant rejected the deal his special envoy offered, even though it may have met his demand for Ukraine not to stay out of NATO, according to the report.

Presidential aide Dmitry Kozak tried to explain to Putin that he believed he had nailed a temporary deal that eliminated the need for bloody war, three people close to the Russian leadership told Reuters.

However, Putin thinks Kozak’s negotiated deal has not gone far enough and he has broadened his goals – including annexing a large amount of Ukrainian territory, insiders assert.

Before the invasion, the Russian leader suggested that NATO and its military infrastructure were moving closer to Russia’s borders by accepting new members from Eastern Europe.

He said the coalition was preparing to bring Ukraine into its orbit and claimed that it represented an “existential threat” to Russia, forcing him to respond.

Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the President of Ukraine, said Russia had used the talks as a smokescreen to prepare for its invasion.

“Today, we clearly understand that the Russian side has never been interested in a peaceful solution,” he said.

Asked about the Reuters findings, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: “It has absolutely nothing to do with reality. Nothing like that has ever happened. It is completely inaccurate information.” .

Kozak did not respond to requests for comment sent through the Kremlin.

It comes as Putin suffers humiliation in Ukraine as he suffers great losses in the Ukrainian counter-offensive.

President Zelensky vowed to keep pushing forward as his troops reached the edge of the Russian-held Donbas in a spectacular counterattack.

Ukraine’s military seems to have made incredible achievements on the eastern and southern fronts, amid the collapse of Russia’s military resolve.

Two of the three sources said an attempt to finalize the deal occurred shortly after the Russian invasion on February 24.

Within days, Kozak believed he had agreed with Ukraine on key terms Russia was seeking and suggested to Putin that he should sign an agreement, the sources said.

An insider said: “After February 24, Kozak was allowed: they gave him the green light; he reached an agreement.

“He brought it back and they told him to move. Everything was cancelled. Putin simply changed the plan as he moved on.”

The third source – who was told by those who heard the events about the discussions between Kozak and Putin – differed in timing.

They say that Kozak proposed the deal to Putin, and it was rejected, just before the invasion.

Kozak, 63, has been a lieutenant loyal to Putin since working with him in the 1990s at the St.Petersburg mayor’s office.

Six months after the war began, Kozak remained in the position of Deputy Chief of the Kremlin’s General Staff.

But he is no longer dealing with the Ukraine case, six sources told Reuters.
