Macomb County Action has reached out to the owner of Auto DR in Ira Town to share the family’s story.
The business has already found a family member to give a car to, increasing happiness for the family.
“It is heartwarming to give back to the community that has supported my business over the past decade. I hope that we can do this every year,” said owner Dustin Rutkowski.
In addition to the Chrysler Town & Country minivan, the family also received a $1,000 gas card.
