Watch 2023’s New Year’s Eve Ball Drop Live on Streaming with Andy Cohen and Miley Cyrus
Looks like every celebrity on Planet Earth is getting ready to welcome the new year tonight, from Shaquille O’Neal arrive Andy Cohen. Maybe in Times Square or Facebook’s online portal metadataThese A-listers plan to shower you with bougainvillea, make funny jokes about resolutions, and offer suggestions to keep drinking—and we’ve got all the details on what you should to watch.
The best, by far, is Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen’s walk. While we miss Kathy Griffin, Cohen was an interesting replacement for her, especially when he convinced Cooper to take a photo at that hour. Correct, CNN is cutting down on their alcohol consumption aired this year, but the duo is still, like Cohen said New York Post Officepromises to “have a BLAST.”
But there are plenty of other options, including those available for free streaming and via mobile. Here’s everything you need to know about celebrating New Year’s Eve in front of the TV, from NBC to Facebook.
New Year’s Eve Live
A repeat of the CNN New Year’s Eve special has always been a personal favorite of mine, and while they’re planning on cutting back on some of the drunken fun, this year is sure to be as good as last year. We may not receive it another rant from Andy Cohen about Bill DeBlasio—but, hey, maybe we’ll get something even more sinister. Guests are posing New Year’s Eve Live turned into a truly wild event, from Jean Smart to “Sweet but Psycho” singer Ava Max.

Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party
Pete Davidson got the ax this year, but Miley Cyrus will be back to host NBC’s NYE party from Miami. Dolly Parton will replace SNL actor, host of rockin’ with her goddaughter until midnight strikes. Both women are amazing in Dolly Parton’s Magic Mountain Christmas, so they could be very charming here. Hope there isn’t another wardrobe malfunction.
Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party will begin streaming at 10:30 p.m. ET and continue until 12:30 p.m. ET.
How to watch: Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party will broadcast on NBC with a live stream also on Peacock. You can watch it on TV or online via NBC’s websiteaccessible by cable login.

Special Shaq’tacular
By far the most entertaining bonkers of the day, Special Shaq’tacular is what I chose as my annual view while New Year’s Eve Live on commercial leave. Because nine o’clock, Shaquille O’Neal will appear in the Metaverse. Yes, you will be able to participate via VR if you have the right headset. Good luck convincing you into the Metaverse.
Special Shaq’tacular will begin streaming at 3:30 p.m. PT and continue into the new year.
How to watch: There are different ways to watch Special Shaq’tacular. You can tune in via O’Neal’s Facebook and Instagram pages to view live, which is the easiest (and free) way to do so. But if you have a Meta Quest 2 headset, you can too RSVP to attend events in virtual reality.
