Obviously, MLB won’t be using a big-name actor for its promotional hype video who opposes a slew of changes to the sport, but Cranston’s praise is still notable.
Former “Malcolm in the Middle” star gives specific reference to the game playing speed, which has been a major focus with changes from commissioner Rob Manfred and company. Cranston is also clearly a fan of the pitch ban, as evidenced by his colorful “get that shift out of here” quip.
Despite a potential Senior Circuit that includes contenders in (amongst others) the Atlanta Braves, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies and NL West-rivals San Diego Padres, Cranston’s Dodgers remains to be expected. is one of the best baseball teams this year.
