She makes her mission abundantly clear, and sadly for Max, it would not align along with his—or anybody’s, as long as they’re decided to prioritize sufferers over earnings.
“If cash is all you care about, why do not you simply flip New Amsterdam into a non-public hospital and shut the doorways on anybody who cannot pay sufficient to stay?” Max asks Dr. Fuentes within the clip.
