Watch Warren Buffett’s Q&A with shareholders live and without cable

Warren Buffett loyalists have once again gathered in Omaha, Nebraska, hoping to pick up a jewel of wisdom from America’s top investor.

Berkshire Hathaway’s annual shareholder meeting, known as “Woodstock for Capitalists,” will hold its annual shareholder meeting on Saturday.

It’s a three-day event that offers everything from shopping, to 5K races, to picnics, and attracts up to 40,000 people from around the world each year.

Some come for the festival. Some are for celebrities (Apple’s Tim Cook and actor Bill Murray appeared last year). But most came to hear Buffett and his vice president, Charlie Munger, give their thoughts on investing and the current environment. Together, the couple holds a multi-hour workshop (last year it ran for five hours, with a lunch break).

What about Buffett and Munger? They are in there for Coca-Cola and See’s crispy peanuts.

“Charlie and I have no shame, Buffett wrote in a letter to shareholders earlier this year. “Last year, at our first shareholder meeting in three years, we greeted you with our usual commercial hustle. From the opening bell, we went straight to your wallet. In a short time, our See’s store has sold you 11 tons of nutritious crunchy peanuts and chocolates. In the pitch at PT Barnum, we promised you longevity. After all, what else but candy from See’s could explain Charlie and I making it to rounds 99 and 92?”
