“We talk to him, Messi and Neymar”

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Sports director Luis Campos addressed the rumors that Kylian Mbappe wanted to leave the Parc des Princes.

There is growing speculation about Mbappe’s future following reports that he has a broken relationship with PSG and is now aiming to leave the French capital in January.

However, Campos has claimed that the striker never told him he wanted to leave, telling Canal+ (via Fabrizio Romano):

“Mbappé never told me or Nasser Al Khelaifi that he wanted to leave Paris Saint-Germain in January. Is Mbappe happy here? You should ask him, it’s a serious question. I see him working as a top professional.”

He then referred to reports claiming Mbappe wants to leave as early as January:

“Mbappé never told me about his intention to leave in January. We talk to him, Messi, Ney… we are happy to be here. “

Kylian Mbappe only signed a new three-year contract at the Parc des Princes in May amid speculation he would move to Real Madrid.

His contract expires in the summer and Los Blancos is expected to secure the French striker on a free transfer.

However, the Frenchman has signed a new contract with PSG, keeping him at the Ligue 1 side until 2025.

Campos arrives in the summer and replaces sporting director Leonardo in the role.

It is believed that Mbappe played a role in his appointment and there have even been reports that the Portuguese will be leaving with the striker.

Report claims that Mbappe’s departure could have consequences for many on the club’s board.

Campos and manager Christophe Galtier could both follow Kylian Mbappe through the exit door if he does leave.

The Frenchman is likely to get a hostile reception from the home fans amid reports that have surfaced just hours before the encounter with the Primeira Liga outfit.

The former AS Monaco striker is in great form, scoring 11 goals in 12 appearances for the Parisians.
