What will you play this weekend? (January 29)

Pokemon Legends.large

It’s been another exciting week in this Nintendo Life, culminating in a sizable release. It’s correct, Pokémon Legends: Arceus is out and is causing a lot of excitement; we enjoyed it in our review. Although there have been a lot of announcements about the game – especially for the eShop – and it has also been a week filled with interesting stories. An old translated interview taught us that Shigeru Miyamoto doesn’t like Navi, someone had to go through a lot of time to get an ‘impossible’ arrow in BoTW, and someone played GTA on Game Boy.

After all the fun of gaming, it’s time to relax and discuss our weekend gaming plans. A few mThe Nintendo Life team embers have done just that right below, so feel free to read our articles and then join in with your own via our comments section. Interesting!

I am playing Pokémon Legends: Arceus just like everyone else and their mother this is exactly in my case my mother To be play it. I’m visiting with my friends this weekend and have absolutely no doubt that she’ll be further than me in the game, better at it, and at the same time distributing wisdom and tips. Honestly, I would be very grateful for the advice.

Like my mother, that is My first Pokémon game, I’m joining because of its ‘adventure’ approach and the fact that it’s a prequel/original game; I can’t imagine a jump to a better point. I’ve been playing for a few hours so far and have to say I’m incredibly charming and don’t stop wanting to play more. People can go on about technical performance, which is perfectly valid, but I’m having a good time with game.

Elsewhere I just finished Rise of the Tomb Raider, which is a meaningless game. Next I’ll jump in Hitman 1 (which I never played) over Hitman trio, which is really just Hitman 3 with seasonal ‘packs’ unlocked. It’s a bit confusing but, whatever, it looks like a hoot.

Pokémon Legend: Arceus.

Move up The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King and SoulCalibur II on GameCube. I also come back to mine Mission ahead campaign on the SNES while also exploring a novel craving for the Sega Dreamcast and its myriad “arcade at home” games.

Game of the week unsurprisingly Pokémon Legends: Arceus. By now you all know I was never into this franchise, but everyone swears this is the game they all dreamed of as kids playing on the Game Boy, so I’m participating in it.

Hey guys! No Pokémon for me this weekend, as I’m still trying to decide if I really want to buy it. The reviews definitely look promising and it’s been a while since I’ve really enjoyed a Pokémon game, so who knows, maybe I’ll have it next weekend.

Elsewhere, I rebooted Bayonetta, with a vision to move forward next part as soon as I finish. I want to catch up on this series again before the inevitable debut of third game this year (I hope..!), but I want to get rid of them now so I don’t feel burned out.

Jon Cartwright, video producer

Am I the only one saying Pokémon Legends? I imagine I was. I’m playing Pokémon Legends! As someone who has never missed a mainstream Pokémon game, I’m a bit bored. It’s like an obligation to keep up with the series and although I’ve always enjoyed it, months have passed since I’ve been blown away… and I think they’ve finally done it. Legends obviously has its flaws technically but in terms of raw gameplay it’s one of the most enjoyable I’ve had with Pokémon and I’ve only been on it for a couple of hours.

I’m hoping to spend a lot of time on Pokémon this weekend but I’m also trying to get through Horizon Zero Dawn. Unfortunately it came out a week ago Breath of the Wild this changed my perception of every open world game and made me abandon my original way of playing. Five years later and I’m giving Horizon another chance. It is good! Doesn’t do a lot of things I haven’t seen before but the fight still manages to elevate everything else. Hoping to catch up before Forbidden West launches.

This weekend, I’ll also enjoy ‘mon’ pokes, along with pretty much everyone else, I suppose. However, I also made a terrible mistake in choosing Dungeon Encounters over the last few days and I can see that it sucks up quite a bit – if not all – of my free time, so Pikachu and their adorable friends may not get to see much over the weekend. this like me. expect they can.

Have a great weekend no matter what you’re doing or playing!
