Now is the time to relax and discuss our weekend gaming plans. A few mThe Nintendo Life team’s embers have done just that right below, so feel free to read our articles and then join in with your own via our comments section. Interesting!

Here we are in the middle of 2022 and the games just keep going up! This weekend I will finally suffer like G. did in House of the Dead Remakediscover curiosities Young soulstart naughty with Rabbids: Party of Legendsand pretend I have time to jump in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak (I definitely won’t…) while still struggling with Chronicles of Valkyria following chapters.

Game of the Week is part of the DLC…a delicious part if you will. Cuphead – The ultimate delicacy really worth the wait. Yum, yum!

So I started that Hades game! Crikey, that’s a good thing, isn’t it? I haven’t spent much time on it yet, but so far I’m enjoying it; super smooth battle, and i love, love, love and cherish voiceover! I can see this being a good title for some time to come.

Elsewhere, I’ve re-downloaded Assassin’s Creed Syndicate on Series X. I really love this game and think it’s had a reputation for being unfair over the years for being essentially “more like” from the word. AC series. It ranks high on my list though thanks to the incredible depiction of London!

This weekend, I will play a lot Dungeons & Dragons. I know! It’s not a video game! But it was my friend’s birthday, and that’s what they wanted to do, so that’s what we’re going to do.

But good news!! I just started a new game: Gnosia. It was “what if Wolf Man, Between usand Danganronpa the game had a baby” and it wild hitherto. Actually, it’s not what I expected – it’s a bit slow and a bit repetitive (obviously, it’s a time loop situation) so I hope it improves soon. The loops are all very short and don’t happen much in each round, but the system they had to design to make this incredibly complex social inference simulator work with NPCs is extremely impressive to me!

It’s better Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – Golden Country this weekend. I’m not even halfway there yet, but I’m pretty sure it’s the best DLC I’ve played – although I’m pretty picky about seasonal passes and DLC in general. I love the cast so much and this is a reminder that when fighting Xenoblade, it really number of clicks. I’ve hit damage in the seven-figure range and it’s very satisfying every time.

That will probably be my main focus since I have less than a month until Xenoblade Chronicles 3! Even though I’m still half White neon Go. July is stack so I’m trying not to pick up anything too big (ignoring Torna) when the game hits hard.

I will spend most of my weekend hunting Monster Hunter Rise. I’m not quite ready for Sunbreak yet, but releasing it this week has definitely motivated me. Apart from this, I will also be back Sonic Origin. So far, I’m making slow progress on this collection, simply because I’m switching from game to game every half hour. So when I finally finished Sonic 2 and 3I will turn my attention to CD and original game.

Last but not least, I will check Portal: Companion Collection. I played both games on Steam when they first came out and have revisited them many times over the years on other platforms, so I guess it’s time for the Switch version. Have a good weekend everyone!

As always, thanks for reading! Be sure to leave us a comment below with your weekend gaming plans!
