After last year’s competition at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, the Super Bowl will head west to SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, for Super Bowl 56.
From then on, the Super Bowl will continue to be held in dome stadiums for a while longer. Each of the next three announced locations will have roofs over fans and players, and will be in warmer weather areas, as is typical of the Super Bowl.

Where is this year’s Super Bowl?
This year’s Super Bowl will be held at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
Home to the Rams and the Chargers, SoFi Stadium was originally set to host the Super Bowl in 2021, however its grand opening was delayed until 2020 and NFL rules stipulate that a The stadium must be open for at least two seasons before it can host the title game.
This will be the third time the city has hosted the Super Bowl, with the LA Memorial Arena having hosted it twice (1967, 1973). Pasadena also hosted the Super Bowl five times (1977, 1980, 1983, 1987, 1993) during the Rose Bowl.
The SoFi Stadium can hold 70,000 people, but it will expand to accommodate 100,000 people for the big game. This will be the venue for major events in the future such as the 2023 College Football Qualifier National Championship and the 2028 Summer Olympics.

Super Bowl 2023: Glendale / Phoenix
The Super Bowl will stay in the west for another year as State Farm Stadium is slated to be the next host of the game.
Formerly the University of Phoenix Stadium, State Farm Stadium has hosted the Super Bowl before in 2008 and 2015. Of the active NFL stadiums, only Caesars Superdome and Hard Rock Stadium is hosting the larger home game of the Cardinals in 2023. Raymond James Stadium has also hosted it three times.
The stadium will have a capacity of up to 73,000 people, with space for nearly 79,000 people at the match.
Super Bowl 2024: Las Vegas
SoFi Stadium isn’t the only new venue slated for a Super Bowl in the near future.
In 2024, the game will be held in Paradise, Nevada, home of the Las Vegas Raiders. Allegiant Stadium opens in 2020, coinciding with the team’s move from Oakland to Nevada.
Normally, about 65,000 people can be seated in the stadium, but it could expand to nearly 72,000 for major events.
Super Bowl 2025: New Orleans
Caesars Superdome, formerly Mercedes-Benz Superdome, will continue to build on the track record with the eighth Super Bowl being held in 2025.
The game was originally scheduled to be held in 2024, but because of scheduling conflicts with Mardi Gras, it had to be pushed back a year.
The last time the New Orleans-based stadium hosted the Super Bowl was in 2013, when it was still the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. It previously hosted games in 1978, 1981, 1986, 1990, 1997 and 2002. The venue can accommodate nearly 77,000 people for major events when expanded.
