Preview McNeese vs LSU
The West Coast opener was not intentional for LSU, with the Tigers wanting unevenly in a 38-27 loss to UCLA. The Tigers allowed the Bruins to foul nearly 500 meters and manage 49 meters of speed.
“They did a very good job. They know what we did,” mentioned LSU coach Ed Orgeron. “They plotted for us in a multitude of conditions of attack and defense behavior. I didn’t see any distractions throughout the week other than we had to maneuver and their households were in danger,” said Orgeron. “I need to win for them. I need to win that is simply not as unhealthy as anyone else for the people of Larose (Orgeron’s hometown), the people of Louisiana. It simply did not happen, however this is the year it started. I consider we now have a great staff. I think we’re going to have a great season, and it starts this week with McNeese. “
McNeese State – a Division I FCS team – beat the opener against West Florida 42-36. The match against LSU will probably be very special for midfielder Cody Orgeron, son of Ed Orgeron.
“It was really tough,” said Cody Orgeron, who made 30 of 48 passes for 361 yards and a few touchdowns in the opening loss. “Moving there, I get each of my brothers on the sidelines anyway, my dad.
