Which Canadian city will be safest during the zombie apocalypse?
Edmonton would clearly be the safest place in Canada to survive a hypothetical zombie apocalypse, according to rankings by Rentola, an online rental portal.
Five factors such as vulnerability, refuge, supplies, safety and mobility were analyzed to determine the best and worst cities to live in if the undead were marching through the streets. .
Vulnerability includes population density and health. The refuge takes into account average household size, green space, and vacant homes. Supplies consider access to food, water, and medicine. Safety takes into account crime data and weapons. Mobility takes into account walking, running and cycling scores as well as roads.
Rentola ranked 35 metropolitan areas based on their analysis across five categories.
Edmonton has achieved relatively high scores across the entire chart, leading to its #1 spot.
