The first day of the finale Risk! High School Reunion Tournament 2023 airs on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
The final consists of two episodes. The player with the highest total score by the end of the second day of the final night will be declared the champion of the tournament. The competition started on February 20, 2023, with 27 former teen contestants. After nine quarterfinals and two semi-finals, the three players advanced to the finals.
Here are the finalists:
- Jackson Jones, a senior at Vanderbilt University from Louisville, Kentucky.
- Maya Wright, senior at Emory University from Peachtree City, Georgia
- Justin Bolsen, freshman at Brown University from Canton, Georgia
They first appeared on the show as teenagers when the late Alex Trebek was the host.

The latest episode of High School Reunion Tournament It’s the first day of the final.
The categories for the first round included “Mountain High Valley Low, Famous Couples, Biblical Responsibility, TV Reality and Competition Shows, Native Americans, We Are Supporters,” Antonym.”
Justin Bolsen is leading the game in the first round, especially after finding the first Daily Double. He gave the highest number of correct answers — seven before the ad break and 13 after. No wrong answer, he made $9,000 in round 1.
Jackson Jones came in second with a score of $4,800, which he earned by giving nine correct answers and one incorrect answer. Maya Wright placed third and gave six correct answers along with one wrong answer. She scored $2,000.
In the second round of Mayim Bialik-episode is held, categories are “What Happened in Asia, Health & Medicine, Singer Fan, Shake It Off, Heroic Aunt, “U” Belongs to “Me”.
Justin also played pretty well in the Double Jeopardy round. He found another Daily Double and once again took the lead. The second daily double goes to Mary, who bet all her money and luckily was able to double it. Jackson tried his best to beat Justin in the second round but two wrong answers sent him down to second place.
The scores of the three finalists were Justin at $18,401, Jackson at $14,000 and Maya at $4,400.
In the Last Danger round, Justin and Jackson’s rankings changed. The latter is the only player who gives the correct answer to the last question and thus tops the scoreboard. As a result, Justin was in second place, while Maya was in third.

Danger at last! today’s results
The category for the final round of the March 8 episode was “Geographic Same Name”. Last question/clue read:
“The busiest passenger port in the UK, it shares its name with the capital of one of the original 13 states.”
The correct answer to the last clue is “Dover.”
Only Jackson gave the correct answer, while Mayans wrote “York” and Justin guessed it was “Annapolis.” Let’s look at the final result of Risk! High School Reunion Tournament Final Night 2023 Day 1:
Jackson Jones: $14,000 + $10,000 = $24,000 (What is Dover?)

Today’s win gives Jackson the lead, which should help his score on day 2 of the finale. The winner of the second day of the final will be the champion of the tournament. He/she will go home with a $100,000 cash prize and a place in Champion’s Tournament 2023.
