Who won the India vs Bangladesh match yesterday?

India beat Bangladesh with 227 runs in ODI yesterday at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. With a bold, third-biggest win by runs in the men’s ODI, Men in Blue avoided a 0-3 defeat in a three-match series.

Beaten first after losing the pitch, Team India put on the board a 409/8 mammoth. Ishan Kishan was the top scorer with 210 of 131 excellent passes, while Virat Kohli contributed 113 of 91 serves.

IndiaThe pitchers then went to the party and knocked out the home team 182 in 34 rounds. Pacer Shardul Thakur scored 3/30, while Axar Patel (20/2) and Umran Malik (2/43) also made significant contributions with the ball.

However, the story of the match was about Kishanhis spectacular innings, which might not have come true had India captain Rohit Sharma been part of the team. With Hitman disqualified due to a thumb injury, his Mumbai Indian (MI) teammate stepped in and made history.

Kishan broke the record for the fastest doubles hit in the men’s ODI, hitting the 126-ball mark. The previous record was named Chris Gayle, who needed 138 deliveries to hit the 200-run mark. By hitting 210, the 24-year-old also became India’s fourth pitcher to hit the double ton, joining the elite roster of Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Rohit.

India lost Shikhar Dhawan (3) again cheaply when he was trapped by Mehidy Hasan Miraz. However, Kishan and Kohli added 290 for the second game to almost knock Bangladesh out of the competition.

I can’t put into words what I’m feeling right now but I’ll try. I am overwhelmed by the love, the messages, the wishes. This is the round that will stay in my heart forever, a day I will never forget, and moments that I will always carry with me. Thanks for everything https://t.co/xlNzuWxA4w

Kohli created a chance very early, in the seventh half of the game. He made a serve from Mehidy to Bangladesh captain Litton Das in the short mid lane. Mining output went down and so did Bangladesh’s fortunes.

Four and six flowed out from Kishan’s bat at one end even if Kohli is the content of the strike. He has also been more open-minded after passing his half-century and went on to sign up for his first hundreds of ODIs since August 2019. The incredible alliance ended when Kishan fell to Taskin Ahmed in the 36th inning, after a rare failed attempt against a big shot.

Kohli was also killed after going over three numbers while trying to run fast. While Shreyas Iyer (3) and KL Rahul (8) weren’t able to contribute much, cameos from Washington Sundar (37) and Axar Patel (20) ensured India crossed the 400 mark.

Bangladesh collapsed under the weight of the goal and could never put itself in any position to chase the total. Axar eliminated Anamul Haque (8) with his first ball and also cleared the field for Mushfiqur Rahim (7). In between, Mohammed Siraj ended Das’ resistance for 29.

Shakib Al Hasan played very well at the age of 43 before being bowled by Kuldeep Yadav. When Bangladesh tried to chase Thakur, the speed driver helped himself pass Afif Hossain (8) and Mehidy (3). Umran Malik hit Indian bowling to win, knocking out Mustafizur Rahman with a score of 13.

In the end, Bangladesh trailed Kishan by 28 runs, a clear indication of Team India’s dominance, albeit in a stalemate.

India vs Bangladesh 2022: Who is the Player of the Match in the 3rd ODI?

Kishan was in top form, hitting 24 rounds and 10 sixth rounds. As he himself admitted after the game, he could even hit 300 if he kept hitting the ball. Kohli was subdued from the start, but ended up hitting 11 fourths and two sixths in his century.

Thakur has impressed with the ball, winning three goals in the lower ranks of Bangladesh. Axar is too good for top and mid when he picks up a few key points.

Man of the match was obvious – Kishan won the honor with his record-breaking double strike.
