Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by 50 points in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match yesterday at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow .
Sent into the net after losing a pitch, Lucknow posted a competitive 193/6 standings as Kyle Mayers starred with an excellent 73 points on just 38 balls. Mark Wood then overcame Delhi’s batting round with a special number of 5/14 when the chasing team was held to a draw with a score of 143/9.
Hit the ball first, captain Lucknow KL Rahul lost 8, toss a slower ball from Chetan Sakariya to square foot deep behind. Mayers, who started slowly, could have been eliminated in the sixth round after Sakariya’s bowling match, but Khaleel Ahmed dropped a simple catch in the ring.

By then, however, DC had fallen behind in the hunt. The Delhi captain’s half ended as he passed the ball more slowly from Avesh Khan into a long ball.
Wood then returned to complete a memorable five-stroke run. He let Axar (16) catch the ball deep in the square, while Sakariya (4) mistook a long ball for a short one in the middle.
