Whoopi Goldberg Rips Lindsey Graham’s ‘Ignorant as Hell’ Defense of Herschel Walker
Opinion Whoopi Goldberg on Thursday tore up Senator Lindsey Graham’s assertion that Republicans cannot be racist because they nominated Herschel Walker to the Senate, calling it “insulting” and “ignorant as hell” prison.”
Next another allegation that Walker is adamant against abortion Graham urged a woman to abort their child pull out all the stops while trying to help push the former soccer star over the line in the crucial race for the Georgia Senate. This includes a General interview on Fox News’ Hannity Wednesday night in which Graham considers Walker’s campaign groundbreaking due to his race.
“He changed the whole story of the left wing. We are a party of racists, Sean,” said the South Carolina senator while hosting Sean Hannity. “You and I are racists! Racist Republican Party! Well, what happens when Republicans elect and nominate Herschel Walker, an African-American, Black Heisman Cup winner, right? Athletics athlete. It destroys the whole story! “
Going even further, Graham later stated that Democrats were “terrified” of Walker’s Republican party because it meant that “maybe every other child of color in America might want to be a Republican.”
Discussing Graham’s remarks at the beginning of Thursday’s broadcast, Goldberg did not decline while tearing down the GOP lawmaker.
“Here’s what you need to know, Lindsey: Just because we see a Negro, doesn’t mean we see monkeys, monkeys do,” she announced to applause from the audience.
“And I’m sure you don’t know how insulting that is, but we tell you, never say that again because you look stupid as hell,” Goldberg continued as the crowd once roared again. “Don’t do that!”
Add that “it doesn’t work that way,” long View the star noted that “it could work that way” for Graham because “we know what you’re doing.” She then said that Black voters “not only get people because they look the right way” but “really have to find people who can actually do the damn job.”
Co-host Sunny Hostin, meanwhile, claims that the “sad thing about this” is that the GOP and former President Donald Trump recruited a “low-quality” Walker to run for the election because of Senator Raphael Warnock , the Democratic incumbent, is also African-American.
“They wanted a black man to go against him, against him,” she declared.
“To fool us, because we don’t know – we can’t tell each other,” Goldberg replied irritably.
