And that is precisely what Netflix’s latest international phenomenon Squid Sport is serving up, because the characters on the coronary heart of the survival drama are tasked with taking part in video games from their childhood—and die if they don’t succeed. Living proof: A sport of “Crimson Gentle, Inexperienced Gentle” proves to be significantly deadly, with greater than half of the rivals dying in episode one.
So, how precisely did the characters—performed by Lee Jung-jae, Park Hae-soo, Jung Ho-yeon, O Yeong-su, Heo Sung-tae and extra—discover themselves on this dystopian nightmare? “All of you on this room are dwelling on the sting,” a masked man instructs the group early on, “with money owed you can’t repay.”
Whereas the contributors are instructed they’ll decide out of the expertise, they’re assured that billions can be awarded to the winner. Intrigued?
