Prime Day price may not be Amazon’s best deal ever
Just because something is discounted on Official date Doesn’t mean it’s the best deal you’ll see anywhere, or even all year.
Naturally, Amazon will offer the best prices on its own devices like Kindle, Fire TV streamer and private label clothes. For example, the e-commerce giant advertised a 24-inch Fire TV for only $90nearly half the retail price, while other early deals include up to 55% off second-generation Echo Show, Kindle Paperwhite, and Eero Mesh Wi-Fi routers.
Keep in mind that some items will be further discounted en route. Prices for mattresses and outdoor furniture are likely to be lower around Labor Day, toys drop the most on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and TVs typically hit their lowest prices before Super Bowl Sunday.
Even Amazon is looking beyond its own Official Day with The second sales event is now scheduled for the fall.
Competitive sales events are empowering
Other bargains aren’t exclusive to Amazon at all. Walmart, Target and Best buyamong others, are hosting competitive deals events that – as in previous years – coincide with Amazon Prime Day 2022.
This time around, Target’s 72-hour “Trade Day” starts earlier and lasts longer, starting July 11, one day before the Official Day. Plus, Target will price match select Deals Day deals and give RedCard members an extra 5% off.
“Every year, they get a little more competitive,” says Burrow.
He also expects to find equally worthwhile deals at Walmart on kitchen appliances, vacuums and Nintendo Switch accessories, and relies on Best Buy to compete on electronics and appliances. Apple’s.
Meanwhile, other retailers, including Outdoor shower bed, Kohl’s, OverloadSamsung and Saks Fifth Avenue, will offer big discounts of their own, according to Kristen Gall, Rakuten retail and shopping expert.
