Why do women kill? will kill again for Paramount+.
Collection of scripts from Desperate Housewives Creator Marc Cherry has been renewed for a third season at the ViacomCBS-backed streamer. The dark comedy will get a new cast once again at the start of its next closing season.

Produced in-house at CBS Studios and in partnership with Imagine Television Studios, season two features a cast led by Allison Tolman and Lana Parrilla and is set in 1949. The freshman competition is played by Ginnifer Goodwin, Lucy Liu and Kirby Howell-Baptiste are at the top and have stories set in the 60s, 80s, and present day.
Cherry, who serves as a host, executive produces alongside Brian Grazer, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis of Acme Productions, Marc Webb, Samie Kim Falvey, Francie Calfo and David Warren.
The renewal comes after Clemens was approved to oversee originals at Paramount+ following a restructuring to focus on streaming following the departure of former CBS All Access scriptwriter Julie McNamara , who originally enlightened the series. Clemens, who also runs studio Paramount Television, oversees Paramount+ originals alongside David Nevins, with Brian Robbins overseeing streamer films and children’s content.
