Wii U is getting a new eShop game in 2022, which will include balance board support

If you thought the Wii U was dead, think again! Although the platform has been completely abandoned in terms of first- and third-party support, there are still independent developers who have kept its legacy alive.

Next after the 2D platform launch ‘Captain U‘Last December, there was another title coming “later this year” in 2022. Silver White Waterfall inside its Umbra is a horror game – was originally revealed by Sungrand Studios last September – that would include Wii Equalizer support as an optional controller for motion.

Developer Jerrel Dulay has now shared a reveal of the “first look” gameplay, which you can watch in Sungrand’s video above.

According to the creators, they cannot offer physical copies but this will be an eShop exclusive in PAL regions. And if you’re wondering, Nintendo is apparently still accepting new game submissions, and the eShop is still open for the time being so people can continue to download games.

This title is part of greater Silver Falls game series with some titles already available on many other platforms, like Nintendo Switch and 3DS.
