Poulter, who additionally starred in “Midsommar,” “We are the Millers” and “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Daybreak Treader,” responded to Gunn’s tweet with, “Thanks, James. It is a real honour to play this position and to work with you. I am very excited to get to work.”
Manufacturing on the third installment of the franchise is predicted to start out in November.
