Winnipeg man arrested for summer assault on toddler, police say – Winnipeg
A Winnipeg man has been arrested in reference to an assault on a three-year-old little one this summer time.
Police stated they have been known as July 31 by a member of the family who was in a separate suite at a Winnipeg residence, heard the kid crying, and went to analyze. The accused — who was presupposed to be taking care of the three-year-old on the time — fled the scene and the kid was taken to hospital in secure situation.
Police issued a warrant for the suspect, 26, who evaded police for months till he was lastly arrested and brought into custody Saturday for assault with a weapon, possessing a weapon, and three counts of failing to adjust to situations.
