Bihar police posted a notice outside the homes of two gang rape defendants in Chamgara village, Lakhisarai district asking them to surrender or face severe action.

The police with dhol, baja, mic went to the house of the two suspects after going around the entire village and made the same announcement before posting the warning.

On September 8, in the village of Chamgara in the Ramgarh Chowk Block, a woman was raped by two young men from her village. Defendants have been identified as Mukesh Yadav and Uday Yadav.

SP Pankaj Kumar said that since the incident, an SIT under the leadership of ASP Imran Masood has been established. They also believe that if the accused does not surrender in time, their property will be confiscated.

However, SP Pankaj Kumar has stated that very soon both the accused will be arrested by the police.
