Meta’s Horizon apps offer a wide range of virtual activities if you have a Facebook login and a headset. Research conducted by the Center against Digital Hate (CCD) in December uncovered more than 100 potential violations against Meta. In addition to sexual harassment and assault, abuse highlighted in the report included racism, bullying, threats of violence, and “content mocking the 9/11 terrorist attacks.” The organization advises that the platform is not safe for children.
