World’s ugliest uterus revealed? | CarExpert
The senior tuning wizards at Brabus have created what could be the world’s ugliest dual-cab – one based on Mercedes-AMG G63.
Before we give it away, though, the chances of you owning – or even seeing – one are gone is near zero.
This monster is called Brabus P 900 Rocket Edition “One of Ten”, the second version alluding to a total production plan of only 10 units.
It is advertised as providing “the unmatched power of Brabus XLP [its G63 pickup model] and the confident power of a race-ready supercar are brought together for the first time.”
No doubt about it.
Power comes from a 4.5-litre twin-turbo V8 with 662kW (that’s 900hp) and 1250Nm of peak torque, mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission that’s perhaps potent to the next level.
The ‘Powerview’ bonnet even gives you a see-through hole to peek into the powertrain, which Brabus says has been electronically enhanced to 1050Nm in the real world.
Brabus says the monster can hit 100km/h in 3.7 seconds on its way to a top speed of 280km/h, which would have been higher if it had been left unmanaged. Brabus claims a surprisingly reasonable fuel consumption of 14.4L/100km.
The Brabus Sport exhaust system with actively controlled flaps ensures that the sound of the part works as well.
Other highlights include 24-inch ‘Aero-Disc’ forged wheels, RideControl aluminum coil suspension with adjustable travel height and custom-made Continental tires measuring 355mm wide at the rear.
Inside are leather seats with ‘Seashell Diamond’ quilting, and ‘Rocket Red’ trims everywhere – Brabus claims 206 separate cockpit parts including trim panels, handles and handles. , switches, speaker covers as well as vents.
