Wrestling Veteran Claims He Doesn’t Want The Elite Back In AEW

Last week on Dynamite, a cryptic video was broadcast featuring Elite appears to have been wiped out of the ad’s existence. Jim Cornette recently shared his insights on the matter and doesn’t seem too pleased with the thought that the trio will return any time soon.

Matt Jackson, Kenny Omega and CM Punk were spotted in public after the altercation, but neither side has officially resolved the matter. Elite, who were crowned the first AEW Trios Champions at All Out, were stripped of the title along with CM Punk.

When Tony Khan announced a tournament for the world championship, he didn’t explain why or how long the participating stars would be suspended.

In a recent issue of The Jim Cornette Experience, the host highlighted how the video that showcases the EVPs’ storylines was omitted from AEW history:

“So it’s clearly some kind of playfulness, ‘Oh, the founders are suddenly erased from our history and what will it mean from here?’ If the elite can really evaporate, can we take a GoFundMe and make it permanent? I’m just going to put the big bucks first,” said Cornette. (00:29 – 00:52)

Ace Steel’s wife allegedly banned from talking about his fight with The Elite in public

An investigation is said to have conducted the brawl that stirred up a behind-the-scenes atmosphere at AEW. Ace Steel’s wife was in the room when the fight broke out. Steel sided with his real-life friend CM Punk against Omega and The Bucks.

Recently, Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter said that Lucy Guy has been informed don’t talk publicly about the events that took place. In addition, she was not approached for questioning during the investigation.

AEW dismissed Kenny Omega congratulating him on his birthday, which was prominently pointed out by fans. They are also said to be interested in buying Punk’s contract.
