Jim Cornette gave his opinion on Andrade El Idolo and Sammy Guevara’s recent war of words on Twitter.
Speaking on Jim Cornette’s Drive ThruCornette suggests that Guevara should choose to call Andrade El Idolo instead of making matters worse by taking to Twitter.
Cornette added that the Mexican star’s comments to The Spanish God weren’t even the most inflammatory comments he had ever heard.
“You work with this guy, you see him every week on TV. It’s one of those guys in the dressing room and you choose, instead of calling him up on the phone, if you’re getting too angry. he said in an interview basically, “Sammy’s the only one who ever complains about him being too hard (…) The most painful thing I’ve ever heard of someone else,” said Jim Cornette.
He went on to criticize the AEW dressing room for seemingly acting like 12-year-olds and also claimed that everyone backstage tends to hate each other.
“So Sammy instead of calling him or instead of coming to see him Wednesday night, he wants to make a product out of it, he wants to tell the world and in the process, he I want to call more attention to the fact that everyone in that dressing room hates each other and they all act like they’re the 12th king,” added Cornette. Jim Cornette claims that Andrade El Idolo doesn’t offer much for AEW
Jim Cornette recently talked about Andrade El Idolo’s place in All Elite Wrestling and what the star brings to the table.
Speaking on Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru, the veteran manager claims that people don’t buy tickets to see the former US champion. Cornette further suggested that Andrade El Idolo should be left at home, as he is not inclined to influence AEW’s business iota. He speak:
“I just let him go home, but I’ll pay him because whether he shows up or not, whether he’s on television or not, it won’t affect their business. No who bought a ticket to see him, no one returned the ticket because he wasn’t there.”
The former WWE star was sent home last Wednesday after allegedly getting caught up in a backstage argument with Sammy Guevara. Fans will have to wait and see what’s next for him during promotions.
