This week on WWE Raw, Bayley returned to the show with the crew’s intention to make a new impact.
First, here are the match results:
– AJ style defeated Mustafa Ali and The Miz through pinfall to win a spot in the subsequent number one contender for the USA title
– Seth Rollins defeated Montez Ford via pinfall
– Alexa Bliss and Asuka fought so that there was no dispute due to interference from Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY
– Ciampa defeated Chad Gable and Dolph Ziggler to win the remaining spot in the US Championship match
– The Champion of the Virgin Bianca Belair and IYO SKY fought to have no contest due to the interference of many competitors
– Ciampa beat AJ Styles to win the US title next week
– Usos defeated Judgment Day via pinfall to hold the Undisputed Card Team Championship
Moment of the Night: The Man Who Came Back Again
Becky Lynch appeared at the beginning of the show for a commercial where it was revealed that she misaligned her shoulder during her Raw Women’s title match at SummerSlam.
Becky Lynch thanks Bianca Belair and begins her SummerSlam comeback story
Becky Lynch kicked off Raw Night Monday after her SummerSlam Competition with WWE’s The EST, Bianca Belair, sharing an emotional moment with the Champion of Raw Women’s.
What makes this segment a moment of the night, however, is Becky explaining how lost she was last year as Big Time Becks – and that now she’s basically going to be ” Man” again.
This is a smart decision, created by Triple HOW.
Lynch is one of the most beloved members on the list, and fighting against that over the past year, as exciting as Becky is, just never makes sense.
Fans want to cheer for one of their favorites. Now they can.
Hopefully she can return in time to win the Rumble next year.
Match of the Night: AJ Styles vs. Mustafa Ali compared to Miz
Mustafa Ali having the opportunity to remind everyone of his amazing ring skills makes me very happy. Hope, Ricochet received the same treatment on SmackDown this week.
Furthermore, AJ Styles is on fire. The guy is making a creative offense like it’s nobody’s business.
These are the kinds of matches people want to watch on Monday.
Additional highlights:
The first Raw of Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY as a faction has been finalized.
They look strong at the beginning of the show attacking Becky Lynch backstage, becoming confident badass in the backstage segments. IYO’s first match showcased her offense, as well as her defense, and Dakota gave a subtle nod to Triple H.
This is a very positive start for the group.
Montez Ford was an absolute superstar in the match against Rollins, despite losing, and Ciampa left Raw with a title fight.
Making the middle of the card feel special is important. That’s how people grow their fan base and increase the card.
Add this, please, Triple H.
