Xenoblade Chronicles Dev Monolith Soft provides employee count update

Japanese developer Monolith Soft has grown in size year after year. In an earlier update – as of 2021, the company revealed its headcount has increased from 261 (in December 2020) to 272.

As highlighted by Twitter users and gaming enthusiasts invisibleThe latest update for 2022 is a little different – with new annual data revealing the headcount at the company has dropped from around 272 employees to 264 in December 2022. It’s fun and nothing to worry about.

Overall, Monolith Soft has enjoyed strong growth in the Switch generation – with more than 100 individuals joining the company during this period. It has also become a major support group for Nintendo over the years – helping with all kinds of franchises including Legend of Zelda, splash gun and Crossing animals series.

It was released most recently Xenoblade Chronicles 3 last July and is currently working hard on the third and fourth DLC packs for the game’s Expansion Pass. The third pack will contain a new hero and challenge, and the fourth pack will have a new origin story. Learn more in our past coverage:
