Yaya Mayweather gets 6 years probation for stabbing in 2020
Yaya Mayweather was awarded legal consequences for stabbing a woman in 2020 at the home of her son’s father, NBA YoungBoy.

Yaya initially pleaded guilty to stabbing Lapattra Lashai Jacobs in April of this year – two years after the incident happened. However, Shade room exclusively reported that Mayweather changed her plea to NOLO CONTENDERE, aka no contest. This plea allows defendants to accept punishment but not admit guilt.

This is what happened the night of the incident
As previously reported, Yaya met Lapattra in YoungBoy’s home in April 2020. After claiming to be the rapper’s fiancé, she asked the 35-year-old man to leave.
Finally, they got into a long war of words in the kitchen. At one point, Yaya grabbed two knives and allegedly stabbed the woman. When the police arrived, Jacobs was lying on the floor, and Mayweather told them that Jacobs started the fight by pulling her hair and running into the kitchen.
Jacobs’ injuries include multiple slashes to her arm. Emergency personnel transported her to the hospital by ambulance. Although her injuries are not life-threatening, she is believed to have undergone surgery.
TSR then confirmed the woman was YoungBoy’s ex-girlfriend. About a month after the stabbing, Jacobs said she would continue to see the artist if the stabbing hadn’t happened.
Yaya and YoungBoy continued to be involved after the incident, as Yaya was pregnant with his first and eighth child. However, YoungBoy is said to not be present at the baby shower. Their son Kentrell Jr. born in January 2021.
