‘Yellowstone’ Season 5 Premieres Breaks Charts With 12.1 Million Viewers – The Hollywood Reporter

The Paramount Network drama brought in a cumulative viewership of 12.1 million live viewers on the same day, the biggest overnight debut for Kevin Costner Western.
The series also gained double digits in all demos, including a 52% increase in adults 18-34 and yielded a cumulative rating of 5.6 in adults 18-49.
The problem goes like this: gold stone drew 8.8 million viewers in its first broadcast on Paramount Network (up 10% from season 4). That number grew to 10.3 million viewers when adding simulcast broadcasts on CMT, TV Land and Pop. Then that number increased to 12.1 million when encore TV shows were added.
The premiere coincided with the premiere of another series by Taylor Sheridan, King Tulsastarring Sylvester Stallone, is underway on the Paramount+ streaming network (rated yet).
