Young Dolph rests in peace in South Memphis – FOX13 News Memphis
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The funeral of Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., a young Dolph, was held Tuesday in Memphis.

Memphis police told FOX13 they were assisting with traffic during the birthday celebration. As the procession departs, the hearse is covered with white roses as the community watches a legend make his way towards his final resting place.
People inside the event shared photos of the show with FOX13’s Jeremy Pierre. The family wishes the media should keep a safe distance so as not to disrupt the program.
Young Dolph’s service was held at First Baptist Church Broad Street. The family’s black SUV was then escorted by security and Memphis Police to the cemetery across from Hamilton High School, Young Dolph’s alma mater.
FOX13 has been told plans are being made for a public ceremony, a chance for fans to say their goodbyes to a man they love so much, who they say has dedicated so much to Memphis .
The Young Dolph announcement ceremony will be held on December 16 at FedExForum.

FOX13 is the first film to feature Young Dolph being shot to death on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Makeda Butter Cookies on Aviation Avenue.
The owner of the store where the shooting took place told FOX13 his employees said Young Dolph, 36, walked into the store to buy cookies. Then someone drove up and shot him dead at a South Memphis bakery.
