‘Tis the season for spooks – Halloween is the one time of year where we can have the ghoulish joy of dressing up in a spooky costume and scaring each other in broad daylight without having to call the authorities.

Of course, sometimes you just want to experience the joy that comes with extreme fear completely within the safe four walls of your own. This is the perfect time for PlayStation to transport you to various otherworldly scenes that will make you shiver, scare and smile.

There are plenty of seriously awesome horror games on PS4 and PS5 that will do the trick or treating, but here’s a selection of our favorites currently available on PlayStation Plus that will make for a wild Halloween experience great right at your home…. No need for cursed video tapes.

Dead Space | Electronic art
