8.0 Honkai Impact 3rd Update and Durandal Armor Set Coming Soon
Third Honkai Impact Another major milestone is about to be reached, as the new Durandal Battlesuit and 8.0 release date have been confirmed in the latest news release Hyperion Lounge. The game’s story will continue with new events on January 9, 2025.
Continuing Helia and Coralie’s story will be the main focus in 8.0. Chapter VII of Part 2 Chapter VII will be dedicated to it while also learning more about Shus. (As a reminder, we met members like lantern And Thelema in previous patches.) This part of the campaign will bring us closer to Ruimu.
As for Durandal, her new Battlesuit is in Third Honkai Impact is Reign Solaris. It is an IMG type unit and both of its fighting forms deal physical damage with their attacks. (Her Palatinus Equinox Battlesuit There are also two forms.) In her Rampager form, she will attack with her signature javelin, while the Skyrider one involves hoverboard attacks. Rampager seems to focus on charged moves, while Skyrider prioritizes speed. Her signature Valorous Effulgence weapon and Illuminating the Universe Stigmas will also be added in the update.
Durandal will also appear in one of two notable events in the update. It’s called the On-Mission Working Guide and involves block puzzles. Countdown: To Sweet Dreams will also feature and bring back characters from Season 1.

Third Honkai Impact is available for PC and mobile, and the release date for Durandal Reign Solaris Battlesuit and update 8.0 is January 9, 2025.
