“Hello everyone, Console and mobile ports of Update 1.6 will be released on November 4, 2024. Thank you for your patience. After that, I want to finish Haunted Chocolatier next. Thanks -Ape”

Barone confirmed that this update includes the Nintendo Switch platform. He also reiterated that he always releases these updates on PC first, as this is “like” a “beta test” to make sure there aren’t any critical bugs that could be much bigger issues on console if there’s no immediate patching.

As for whether you should start a new file with Version 1.6, you can still experience “most of the new stuff with your current save” but there are “some” new things, such as in the first year vs. subsequent years.
