Watch Dynasty Warriors Origins’ Lu Bu in the TGS 2024 action demo
China’s Three Kingdoms period character, Lu Bu is also known to be a very powerful boss in Koei Tecmo. Dynasty warrior game, and it will be no exception in the series’ latest entry, Origins of dynastic warriors. the live stage and live streaming from the PlayStation booth on the fourth and final day of Tokyo Game Show 2024 comes a challenging fight against a boss character.
The segment in question is based on TGS 2024’s demo build Origins of dynastic warriors. While the demo is mainly introductory Battle of Sishui Gateit has an added challenge for skilled players. Those who pass the demo stage with an A or S rank and have more than one minute left in their allotted 15 minutes of play can play another match against Lu Bu.
Although additional challenges are available, there are no reports of players being able to defeat Lu Bu in the match. Origins of dynastic warriors demo before this stage show goes live. As a result, the PlayStation booth team tasked game producer Tomohiko Sho with playing the demo himself and trying to reach and defeat Lu Bu.
The stream’s archive is also available to view below. Tomohiko Sho’s gameplay attempt begins around 41:10 and Lu Bu’s challenge begins at 52:50. The same stream also featured a short look at the Campaign phase against Yuan Shu earlier at 22:25.
Origins of dynastic warriors will be available simultaneously for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC worldwide January 17, 2025.
