Lawyers respond to new claims from more than 100 victims

Earlier this week, attorney Tony Buzbee posted on Instagram to announce that his firm, Buzbee Law Firm and AVA Law Group will hold a press conference on October 1.
“A press conference announcing the charges against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and others will take place at 1 p.m., Tuesday… Buzbee Law Firm and AVA Law Group represent more than 100 individuals on this time,” the lawyer wrote in the caption of his post. “If you are a victim or witness it, call the Sexual Abuse Hotline at 1-800-200-7474. According to TMZduring the press conference, Buzbee explained that the companies are representing 120 new accusers against Diddy. Additionally, the attorney explained that lawsuits for each of the alleged victims will be filed against the 54-year-old within the next 30 days.
The new victims are said to include many who were minors at the time they were allegedly assaulted by Diddy. One victim that Buzbee specifically noted was a 9-year-old individual who was “seduced” by Diddy with the promise of a recording contract. Additionally, Buzbee documented the experience of a 15-year-old individual when Diddy and others allegedly raped her.
“When we talk about the ages of the victims when the acts occurred, it’s shocking,” Buzbee said. Fox News. “The youngest victim at the time of the incident was only 9 years old. We have a 14 year old individual. We have a 15 year old. Twenty-five of the 120 individual plaintiffs in these cases were minors at the time of the acts complained of… The time frame of the acts complained of is very broad. The conduct… lasted from 1991 until this year, 2024.”
During the press conference, Buzbee alleged that Diddy used a drink laced with xylazine, believed to be used as a horse tranquilizer, to subdue his alleged victims.

After the press conference ended, Erica Wolff shared a statement with TMZ. Wolff seemed to imply the new accusers were engaging in a “reckless media circus” against Diddy. “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every baseless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus,” the attorney’s statement read. “That said, Mr. Combs unequivocally and unequivocally denies as false and defamatory any statements that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and exonerating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence and not speculation.”
