DDG shocked fans with a message on Instagram

On Thursday, October 3, a message was posted on DDG’s Instagram Story announcing that he and his girlfriend, Halle Bailey, had decided to break up.

In the lengthy post, the rapper explained that they both found it difficult to make this decision, but they agreed that it was the best choice for each of them.

“After much reflection and honest conversation, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways. This decision was not easy, but we believe it is the best path for both of us. I cherish the time we spent together and the love we shared,” the message read.

The person being messaged emphasized that they would still remain close friends despite the changes.

“Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still close friends and love each other. As we focus on our individual journeys and our role as co-parents, we cherish the bond we have built and the beautiful moments we have shared. As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support,” he continued.
