Aboriginal protesters arrested during King Charles’s visit to Sydney
Indigenous activist Wayne Wharton was arrested outside the Sydney Opera House, as crowds waited for the King and Queen on the final day of their Australian tour.
BBC footage shows Wharton shouting “he is the King of thieves” and “your invading hands are bloody” to the crowd, who responded with chants of “God save the king”.
Wharton was later arrested after refusing police orders to move on, shouting “you don’t win” as police escorted him away.
