New monsters appear in the Monster Hunter Wilds Azuz Trailer
Capcom’s latest Wild monster hunter The trailer takes us to Azuz the Everforge, a new city in the Oilwell Basin, and it introduces new monsters Rompopolo, Ajarakan, and one just called the Black Flame. It seems that this person closely resembles Nakarkos, from Generation of monster hunters.
The new Azuz the Everforge trailer has kicked off Wild monster hunter On display October 23, 2024which you can see at the beginning below. For the first time we see a hunter and their crew arrive at Azuz the Everforge. This provides an opportunity to see what the city looks like. After wandering around town, we arrived at what looked like the Oilwell Basin biome. Then Rompopolo attacked. It will be a Brute Wyvern monster. It is also famous for borrowing and using oil sludge to its advantage when attacking.
Then we will see the new Ajarakan Wild monster hunter monster. It was on fire and seemed to be behaving like a monkey. This is appropriate since it is described as a Fanged Beast. The announcement confirms that, to accommodate a creature comfortable in that element, it will work in Firespring.
The video ends with everyone summoning the Fountain of Fire as part of the ceremony. However, things seem to be going in the wrong direction. It looked like there might be an eruption of some kind and that’s when the Black Flame appeared.
Wild monster hunter coming to PS5, Xbox Series X and PC on February 28, 2025. Pre-orderers take Guild Knight Layered Armor Set and Talisman of Hope.
