DC police warn of robbers targeting people
Things are getting scary for designer sneaker lovers on the streets of Washington DC. The local police force is currently warning people about the increasing theft of expensive shoes. List of them The brand with the most shock including Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Amiri and Lanvin Paris.

Metro PD is trying to keep the public safe with a number of advisories, including discouraging the display of “high-value items,” such as high-end sneakers and valuables other treatment. If you’re warming up in DC this winter, designer sneakers aren’t the only luxury items robbers are after. Fox 5 DC reporter Stephanie Ramirez says Metro PD also recommends people sew gas tags onto their expensive jackets.
We’ve covered this before in DC & Prince George’s but I’ve never seen a warning like this B4.

Three students designing sneakers were just robbed
Earlier this month, three students had Balenciaga sneakers and Jordans snatched from them in Southeast DC. Fox 5 DC reports that the incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. on October 15. A suspect described as black with darker skin and male, allegedly ran up to the students, pointing a gun and told them to “fuck off.”
They gave away a pair of Jordan Blue Thunders priced at a little over $200, a pair of black and white Jordans priced at around $280, and a pair of Balenciagas worth $1,100. At this time, police have no one in custody for the violation.
