Toby Fox shares a Deltarune Dev update, saying he’s working on Chapter 5 every day

Toby Fox has shared an extremely brief update on the development of his latest game Deltarune.

In a social media post, he mentioned he is working on Chapter 5 “daily” and is “planning” to release the next newsletter for the game “late December.” .

“Working on Ch5 every day. Planning to have the next newsletter at the end of December”

ONE update from Fox earlier this year in August mentioned that Chapter 4 was “basically playable but without any polish” and at the time he also mentioned that Chapter 5’s early development was “progressing steadily” how.

So it seems like all the focus now is on Chapter 5. Here’s what he had to say about Deltarune “release schedule” in the same August update:

“With the progress of Chapter 5, I’m sure that once Chapters 3 and 4 come out, the release schedule for the following chapters will be much smoother!! It’ll still take a long time to get there, but once we do, you’ll never have to wait too long for a Chapter again!”
