Apple Announces 2024 App Store Awards Finalists: Best Apps and Games for iPhone, iPad, and More
Apple has announced the 45 finalists for its 2024 App Store Awards, recognizing apps and games for innovation, design and user experience. The awards include 12 categories, including the new addition to Apple Vision Pro, celebrating advances in spatial computing. The winners will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Carson Oliver, head of Apple’s Worldwide App Store, expressed excitement about this year’s nominations. “These finalists demonstrate outstanding creativity, providing users with apps they love and find valuable,” he said.

iPhone App of the Year:
- Kino: Turn everyday moments into cinematic videos.
- Runna: Offers customized workout plans for runners.
- Tripsy: Helps travelers organize and simplify their trips.
iPhone Game of the Year:
- AFK Journey: Fantasy adventure with strategic battles.
- The WereCleaner: Experience humorous, creative gameplay.
- Zenless Zone Zero: An action-packed storytelling game.

iPad App of the Year:
- Bluey: Let’s Play: Delivers family-friendly fun with famous characters.
- Moises: Using AI to enhance music practice.
- Create Dreams: Allows users to create animated stories.
